Follow these simple, step-by-step instructions to refresh templates in Project Operations using the xl360 tab for both Projects and Opportunity Lines. This will help keep your templates clean, up to date, and performing at their best.
- In Opportunity Lines, the xl360 template can be refreshed for the Fee Estimator.
- In Projects, the xl360 templates can be refreshed for WBS Planner, Effort Allocation, Task Actuals, and ETC/EAC Management.
Refreshing xl360 templates for Projects
Access the Project and xl360 tab
- Open the required project in Project Operations.
- Navigate to the xl360 tab to begin the refresh process.
Remove existing templates
- Select all template items currently displayed in the xl360 tab.
- Delete the selected items to remove all existing template data.
Refresh the system
- Refresh the xl360 tab to apply the changes.
- (Optional) Refresh your browser to ensure updates are applied correctly.
- Return to the xl360 tab. It should now appear blank.
Create a new template
- Open a specific sub-tab, such as WBS, Effort Allocation, to generate a new template.
Verify the new template
- Return to the xl360 tab.
- Refresh the tab to confirm the new template is visible and correctly generated.

Refresh the system
- Refresh the xl360 tab to apply the changes.

- Open a specific fee estimator spreadsheet to generate a new template.
